Sheldon,
I'll take the first stab at these questions: Others can add to, or
correct...

You'll need to set the motor in place and find out. Remember to attach
the carbs when you do this. Fitting the Rotax into a KBS Mk7 (with
4-link conversion) would not require frame mods.

There are several vendors on this list that provide pipes/manifolds.
Sidewinder has them on their website. I think Kenny Price makes a pipe.
Most competitors that I know use the manifold and pipe from Aaen
Performance.

If you're changing from an AMW motor, you'll have to get the Clutch
taper machined. Gary at Micro-Belmont can help.

I think Mike Quadrini at QRE can supply.

If you're converting from AMW, you'll need to get a new throttle cable
assmbly. The Rotax requires a junction box with 3 cables (2 carbs + 1
oil injection). Tony Murphy offers a real nice unit.

I'll open a can of worms with this one....and it applies if your doing
the AMW switch to Rotax...most people I knew with AMW used an electronic
fuel pump. The same can't be said for the Rotax. There are some with
electonic fuel pumps, regulators, etc. There are some with the Mikuni
diaphram pump (I'm one of those). Fuel delivery has been an issue for
many of us in Solo. Most of us have experienced the dreaded bog after
Rotax conversion. And most of us have solved it in different ways. I'm
sure you'll get a variety of input regarding fuel delivery and the
"dreaded bog".
