I asked because something about the design of the AMW
seems to be real hard on piston tops. ( wimpy pistons ? )
 I'm not claiming any real expertise in this and am basing it on results 
of a few
hours of dyno running. I think the AMW would be more
forgiving if the pistons were kept cooler.
That brings up the question of effectiveness of the coatings
....do they work?

People do a lot of things that are not covered in the rule book,
most of em have been deemed legal or ignored in general.
