[F500] Rotax tach lead

Jeff,

I hit 6800 RPM and the dash read the RPM just fine. I'll let you know
if the gauge reads up to 8000 after our next event this coming weekend.
Do you have the black kill wire running next to the coil or anything
else that might cause interference?

John,
Did you get a chance to test over the entire RPM range? I had
difficulty last year when installing the MyChron3 to my Rotax. The tach
would work fine in the low RPM ranges (up to approx 5000) but would then

blank out in the higher ranges. I'm pretty sure it's because the voltage

is too high. I never did get it figured out before the season ended
(yeh, we have snow up north). I was getting help from Mario at AIMsport

in CA. Now that the snow has melted, I'll be tackling that problem
again.
