Actually, "tadpole" trikes are very stable and tend to
have excellent handling compared to "delta" trikes. 
Three wheel ATVs are a completely different animal,
short, narrow, high CG, bouncy tires compared to long,
wide, CG near or even below wheel center, stable
tires.

The real problem with making a trike the "Next Class"
is that SCCA defines "automobile" as having four
wheels.  You think F500 is a red-headed stepchild,
think about a trike.  :)
